Chicago, IL - With much of the integration work on their Oracle ERP implementation winding down, The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) was seeking to transition into a more efficient and lean approach to maintaining and enhancing their Oracle investment. The CTA made the strategic decision to leverage the work already being done by the CAI / Clarity team in providing support and development services for the City of Chicago’s Oracle ERP implementation since 2007. The CTA was able to act swiftly and realize cost savings sooner by expanding CAI’s City of Chicago sister-agency contract through an intergovernmental agreement.

Oracle’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution consists of several integrated modules from Oracle’s E-Business Suite of applications including Financial Management and Human Capital Management. Clarity Partners specific role on the team for the CTA is to provide software development resources with expertise in the languages of Oracle which include JAVA, PL/SQL, and Unix scripts, among others.
