Chicago, IL - The City of Chicago Department of Revenue has entered into a 5-year $26 Million master contract with Keane, Inc to outsource a broad range of system support, service desk, and customer service functions for its various divisions. Under the Keane master contract, Clarity Partners is now handling all level 1 customer calls relating to business licensing and permit fees, use tax collection, and other revenue streams such as taxi medallions.

Clarity’s $4 Million subcontract also covers the service desk operations for the EZ Dec website where attorneys, title companies, and individuals can file real property transfer tax declarations online. EZ Dec is a multijurisdictional project sponsored by the City of Chicago, Cook County, and State of Illinois that will go live later this month. EZ Dec electronically combines and replaces 6 different paper forms that currently must be filed at city, county, and state levels.

A final area of responsibility for Clarity is to provide in-field support for the cashiering systems deployed at pay windows and remote pay stations around the city.

Clarity has supported Keane and the City of Chicago in their efforts to develop improved customer service business processes and to surpass service level goals. The Keane Master contract runs five years and includes two optional five-year extensions.
