Seeking to deliver health and human services to its citizens more efficiently and effectively, the City of Chicago will implement an Enterprise Case Management system to replace 13 separate software applications and databases currently used by 7 city departments and sister agencies. For this purpose, the City has selected an enterprise application platform from Adsystech Inc headquartered in Washington DC. As Adsystech’s local partner, Clarity Partners will provide the implementation services and on-site support for this $7 Million project.

When implemented, the Adsystech software will provide a single platform encapsulating case management processes for the numerous city departments that currently provide human services including: Housing, Human Services, Children and Youth Services, Public Health, Senior Services, People with Disabilities, and Workforce Development. The solution replaces and unifies existing “silos” of discrete applications that have been used by individual departments and it provides standardized client intake, referral, eligibility screening, case handling, service program management, and reporting features. The project also provides application interfaces and integrates several sister agency systems as well as Chicago’s 311 system. The solution adds value by automating and replacing numerous costly and time-consuming manual processes.

On this engagement, Clarity will provide services including business process and gap analysis, training and documentation, data conversion, application configuration, reports design, and all testing and requirements validation. Clarity will serve as the local expert and knowledge base for direct support of city human services operations for the next 3 years.

When completed, the City of Chicago will have a unified approach and a comprehensive view of its citizen services provided on both a personal and a neighborhood level.
