Chicago, IL - World Sport Chicago promotes Olympic and Paralympic sports to the youth of Chicago through the hosting of athletic events, mentoring programs, and athletic scholarships. The organization is privately funded through donations and Clarity Partners provided services to build and support the WSC’s Donor / Customer Relationship Management database.

World Sport Chicago is the living legacy of its predecessor organization which developed Chicago’s 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Bid. Clarity adapted and enhanced the original Donor Relationship Management system that it contributed to the Chicago 2016 effort so that it could be more effectively used by WSC. The Clarity CRM system is comprised of several modules including individual donors, corporate donors, pledge and donation management, and donor/donation reporting.

“Clarity Partners contributed to the development of the best Olympic bid in U.S. history and has helped to leave a lasting legacy for Chicago. Their efforts helped to represent our great city and the entire United States of America with distinction on the world stage,” said Patrick Ryan, Chairman and CEO of Chicago 2016.

Chicago 2016 successfully raised $70 Million in support of the Olympic bid. When the bid was ultimately unsuccessful, the organization redirected its fund raising momentum to the creation of World Sport Chicago. In its first year, WSC has awarded 56 college tuition scholarships to high school juniors who have played an Olympic sport and who demonstrated a high level of commitment to athletics, academics and Olympic values.  More about World Sport Chicago can be found at www.worldsportchicago.org
