Clarity welcomes Sarah Sheehan to its team as a Director. Ms. Sheehan has extensive experience in the public sector with budgeting, financial management, and operations improvement.  She has procurement and operations experience as a result of her management positions in city government.  Her experience also includes assisting clients in ERP selection, as well as training public sector clients on sound financial practices and policies. 

Throughout her career, Ms. Sheehan has served as a Senior Budget Analyst and Procurement Officer at the City of Chicago, where she created and analyzed operating budgets, managed grant administration, and designed new revenue policies and procedures. At Deloitte, Ms. Sheehan served as a Senior Consultant in the Public Sector Strategy and Operations department. In this role, she helped the State of Illinois move towards a shared HR and fiscal environment. For Cook County, Ms. Sheehan led a transition team to establish uniform position descriptions, labor relations, and resource needs for the newly elected president. She also led a transition team for the newly elected mayor of Chicago to review and analyze the City’s grants management project.

At Clarity, Ms. Sheehan is currently serving as the knowledge transfer lead in a statewide SAP implementation project. SAP is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software that incorporates the key business functions of an organization for more collaborative and efficient business operations. The ERP program will transform finance, human resources and other administrative systems through the adoption of a single, modern, integrated IT platform, making collaborative operations on the state level more efficient. Ms. Sheehan is responsible for training state employees on the new software and assuring that a smooth transition from legacy systems occurs.
